Updated 30 September 2026
The following cookie policy explains what cookies are and the usage of cookies on our website lokala.fi.
Cookies
Cookies are simple data files that are stored on your computer or mobile device by a website’s server when you visit a website. Each cookie is distinctive to your web browser and is commonly used by websites so that their services function correctly, are more efficient, and to create reporting information.
First-party cookies are set by the visited website, while third-party cookies are set by another party other than the visited website owners. Our website uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies to provide its payment services, enhance security, and prevent fraudulent activities. For more information about Stripe’s use of cookies, please refer to Stripe’s Cookie Policy.
Purposes of cookies
We use essential cookies for login, shopping baskets, language and secure payments. Optional PostHog analytics use localStorage rather than cookies and start only after you confirm your choice.
The types of cookies we use are:
Necessary cookies
Essential or necessary cookies are needed for us to provide the best possible experience for you when accessing our website and using its features. For example, by using these cookies we can know if you have created an account and have logged into it. The essential cookies are also required for remembering the content of your shopping basket in our online store and displaying our webpage in your chosen language.
Optional analytics and session replay
PostHog EU collects page visits, clicks, scrolling, performance, errors, search terms and masked session replays. Inputs are masked and form/API error events contain field names only. We share user roles, not account names or emails. Recordings are kept for 30 days.
Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings in the footer to allow or reject optional analytics at any time. Uncheck the analytics box and press OK, or choose Essential only, to stop future recording and clear analytics storage. Essential cookies remain enabled. Your choice is saved in this browser.
